ABOUT THE PROJECT

The LIP Queens Park Portrait Project is a community art project that started with Queens Park Day 2013.

Seven members of the LIP Queens Park Group were inspired by Mark Tamer's idea to make the regular LIP QP stall at Queens Park Day something more interactive than selling prints.

At the end of November an opportunity arose to do a further portrait session as part of Kensal Flea at Paradise by way of Kensal Green.

Using the glass-covered conservatory bar was way less alarming than being in the wind and rain!

Subsequently, we have done an indoor session at BAR Gallery at Christmas 2013, outdoor again at ST Mark's Centenary Fete and more recently Queens Park Open Studios and Gardens weekend in Queens Park
